Hardwood Crude Tall Oil (CTO)

Hardwood CTO (CAS 8002-26-4) is a bio-based, complex mixture obtained from the pulp industry. It is a dark brown liquid with an acid value of min 96 and a density at 15°C of 950-990 kg/m³. It is used as a collector/modifier in flotation of oxidised ores and phosphates, an anti-stripping agent in asphalt, a concrete mould release agent, a binder in briquetting, a renewable fuel component and a feedstock for chemical processing.

It is delivered as a liquid in ISO tank containers, road tankers or IBC containers. KORKİMYA holds local stock in Istanbul and delivers fast from stock without depending on imports from China. Shelf life is 1 year, extendable to 2 years with internal control per CoA and TDS.
