Application Procedure

To exercise your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may choose one of the methods below. Your applications will be answered within 30 (thirty) days at the latest.

1. Methods of Application

Written Application

You may submit your wet-signed petition to the address below, by post or in person, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller (Veri Sorumlusuna Başvuru Usul ve Esasları Hakkında Tebliğ):

Application by Email

You may submit your application via registered electronic mail (KEP) or by email signed with a secure electronic signature to kvkk@korkimya.com.

2. Information to Be Included in the Application

In order for your application to be evaluated, the following information must be provided in full:

• First name, last name and Turkish Identity Number (or passport number)
• Address of residence or place of business for the purposes of notification
• Email address and telephone number
• Subject of the request: a clear statement of the right you wish to exercise (e.g. request to erase data, request for information)

We recommend that you attach a copy of the documents verifying your identity to your application.

3. Response Time

KORKİMYA will conclude the request within 30 (thirty) days at the latest from the date the application is received and will notify you in writing or electronically. If additional time is required due to the nature of the request, you will be informed accordingly.

4. Fees

The application and response process is free of charge. However, if a copy of the requested information exceeds 10 (ten) pages, a processing fee may be charged for each additional page in accordance with the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.

5. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If your application is rejected, if the response is found to be insufficient, or if no response is received within the prescribed period, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).
