DPG (diphenylguanidine, C₁₃H₁₃N₃) is a secondary vulcanisation accelerator used in rubber compounds. It works synergistically with thiazole and sulphenamide accelerators and is used in tyres, belts, hoses and technical rubber profiles, as well as a curing agent for shellac and phenolic resins.
