Methylene chloride is stored in airtight steel tanks or in steel drums in unheated warehouse areas or under canopies; drums of 275 dm3 capacity may be stacked at most 2 layers high and drums of 110 dm3 capacity at most 3 layers; the temperature must not exceed 50 degrees C.
Product stabilised with amylene: 1 year from the date of manufacture; for non-stabilised methylene chloride the storage period has not been determined
