Hydrophilic Amorphous Fumed Silica (K-200)

K-200 is a high-purity hydrophilic amorphous fumed silica (SiO2, CAS 112945-52-5) with a specific surface area (BET) of 200 ± 20 m²/g. It is used for rheology and thixotropy control, reinforcement and viscosity build-up in unsaturated polyester resin, adhesives, inks, paints, food/cosmetics and silicone rubber.

K-200 is a 200 m²/g grade hydrophilic fumed silica, a high-purity product with a minimum SiO2 content of 99.8%. It generally offers comparable rheology performance to other hydrophilic fumed silicas in the same 200 m²/g surface-area class; comparing the specification is recommended for a fit check.

K-200 is a stable chemical and does not degrade. Store it protected from moisture and chemicals; its shelf life is 24 months and the product is recommended to be used within 2 years. It is supplied in 10 kg multi-layer (PE-lined) kraft bags, with big-bag available on request.
