4. Data Transfer
In line with the purposes set out above, KORKİMYA may, in certain cases, transfer your processed personal data to third parties, in particular under Article 8 of the Law and in accordance with the legislation, on the legal grounds of performance of a contract, fulfilment of a legal obligation, overriding legitimate interest or your explicit consent.
If you allow third-party cookies provided by entities established abroad, your personal data is transferred abroad in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK and on the basis of appropriate safeguards, given that these service providers supply their server services from abroad.
Recipient groups:
- Service providers established in Turkey and/or abroad, for the purposes set out above with respect to each Cookie type,
- Our business partners established in Turkey and/or abroad, in particular for the purposes of establishing and maintaining business cooperation and conducting joint advertising/marketing activities, with respect to each Cookie type for the purposes set out above (e.g. search engines, social media platforms, data management platforms and digital advertising platforms).
5. Your Statutory Rights Regarding Your Processed Personal Data
You may submit your requests and questions regarding your rights under the KVKK in writing and signed, including your identity, telephone and address details so that we can identify you and contact you, by registered post to our company headquarters (Barbaros Mahallesi, Kardelen Sokak, Palladium Tower, D:2/1, 34746 Ataşehir/İstanbul) in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, in person, or by sending them to kvkk@korkimya.com.
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, natural persons whose personal data is processed have the following rights:
- to learn whether their personal data is being processed,
- to request information regarding such processing if their personal data has been processed,
- to learn the purpose of the processing of personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- to know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom personal data is transferred,
- to request that personal data be corrected if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- to request that personal data be erased or destroyed where the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist, even if it has been processed in compliance with the KVKK and other relevant laws,
- to object to any outcome that is to the data subject's detriment arising from analysis of the processed data exclusively by means of automated systems,
- to claim compensation for any damage suffered as a result of the unlawful processing of personal data.
KVKK and GDPR Compliance
Under Turkey's KVKK (Law No. 6698) and the EU's GDPR, non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) require explicit consent.
