As KOR KİMYA PAZARLAMA VE TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("KORKİMYA"), we attach great importance to processing and safeguarding your personal data in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the "Law"). We would like to inform you about the purposes and methods by which we collect, process and transfer the personal data of our customers, and about the rights you have under the Law.

2. Personal Data Processed

The personal data processed by KORKİMYA via the Website consists of data collected when you visit the Website, in line with your cookie preferences, or that you share with us through forms you fill in on the Website.

Through the contact form and the suggestion/complaint form on the Website, we process personal data such as first name, last name, telephone number, email address, country information and the content of your message. 3. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data

KORKİMYA processes your personal data on the basis of one or more of the conditions set out in Article 5 of the KVKK and in line with the data processing principles set out in Article 4 of the KVKK. In this context, your personal data may be processed:

• (i) for the purpose of providing the Website without disruption and ensuring its security, on the legal ground of the existence of a legitimate interest, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms,
• (ii) for the purpose of fulfilling the requests you submit through the Website and establishing communication, on the legal ground of the conclusion or performance of a contract,
• (iii) for the purposes of resolving disputes, asserting or defending legal claims and meeting the burden of proof, on the legal ground that processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
• (iv) where you have given consent under the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, for communication, advertising and marketing activities within the scope of e-newsletter registration, on the legal ground of your explicit consent,
• (v) for the management of data held by KORKİMYA, the determination and execution of commercial and business strategies, and research and analysis activities, on the legal ground of your explicit consent.

Your personal data is kept accurate and up to date as needed for the above purposes, used in a manner that is connected, limited and proportionate to the purposes for which it is processed, and retained for a reasonable storage period determined in accordance with the law.

4. Recipients and Purposes of Transfer of Personal Data

In line with the purposes set out above, KORKİMYA may, in certain cases, transfer your personal data to third parties in accordance with the legislation, in particular Article 8 of the Law, on the legal grounds of performance of a contract, fulfilment of a legal obligation, overriding legitimate interest or your explicit consent.

For example, if you give consent to receive commercial electronic messages under the Law on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, your personal data may be transferred to service providers and, in order to fulfil our legal obligations, to the Commercial Electronic Message Management System ("İYS").

In order to safeguard the legal and commercial security of KORKİMYA and the persons in a business relationship with KORKİMYA, comply with administrative requests and court orders, prevent the unlawful use of services, defend against the claims of third parties and combat fraud, your personal data may be transferred to supervisory authorities, courts, law firms or public institutions authorised by law.

Your personal data may also be transferred in connection with a possible share transfer, merger or investment, on the legal grounds of performance of a contract and the existence of a legitimate interest.

The hosting services for our website are provided by companies established both in Turkey and abroad. In addition, if you allow third-party cookies provided by entities established outside Turkey on the Website, your personal data is transferred abroad by these service providers in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK and on the basis of appropriate safeguards.

6. Rights of the Data Subject and Exercise of Those Rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject you have the following rights:

• to learn whether your personal data is being processed
• to request information regarding such processing if your personal data has been processed, and to learn to whom it has been disclosed
• to learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
• to know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom your personal data is transferred
• to request that your personal data be corrected if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately
• to request that your personal data be erased or destroyed when the reasons requiring its processing no longer exist
• to object to any outcome that is to your detriment arising from analysis of the processed data exclusively by means of automated systems
• to claim compensation for any damage you suffer as a result of the unlawful processing of your personal data

You may submit your requests regarding your rights in writing and signed, by registered post to our company headquarters (Barbaros Mahallesi, Kardelen Sokak, Palladium Tower, D:2/1, 34746 Ataşehir/İstanbul) in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, in person, or by sending them to kvkk@korkimya.com. Your requests will be answered within 30 (thirty) days at the latest.
