TOFA demand in Türkiye does not come from a single sector. Grade selection follows the line's colour and rosin acid tolerance:
Iodine value is min 150 in both grades (ASTM D5768), so the grade choice is not decisive for reactions driven by unsaturation. The distinction lies on the colour and impurity side.
TRY invoicing, payment terms and where the import risk sits
With an imported raw material, cost moves with the exchange rate between order and delivery, payment is often made up front, and working capital stays locked in goods at sea.
