What is DTO Premium and where is it preferred?
DTO Premium (CAS 8002-26-4) is the highest-purity bio-based grade obtained by distilling tall oil. It is a clear, bright light amber liquid with an acid value of min 170, saponification value of min 175, rosin acid content of max 30% and unsaponifiables of max 6%. It is preferred for premium alkyd resin and paint binders, high-gloss varnishes, high-performance adhesives, lubricant esters and precision chemical synthesis.
