Sodium Hypochlorite 20%

Sodium hypochlorite 20% (CAS 7681-52-9, NaClO) is a greenish-yellow homogeneous liquid containing a minimum of 190 g/dm³ active chlorine. It is used for the disinfection of drinking water networks and swimming pool water (Brand A - registered disinfectant), as an oxidising reagent in the vitamin industry (Brand B), for bleaching textile fabrics, in industrial water treatment and in wastewater disinfection.

It is supplied in rubber-lined steel tanks and in corrosion-resistant containers lined with rubber, polyethylene or fibreglass (UN 1791). Yes. The product is registered under the Turkish KKDIK / REACH framework and ships with a compliant safety data sheet (SDS). Because sodium hypochlorite reacts with acids and organic substances, the separate storage and ventilation instructions on the SDS must be followed.
