Sodium Hypochlorite 50%

Sodium hypochlorite 50% (CAS 7681-52-9, NaClO) is a homogeneous liquid ranging from light yellow to greenish-yellow, containing a minimum of 170 g/dm³ active chlorine. It is used for the disinfection of drinking water networks and pool water, industrial water treatment and sterilisation, bleaching in the textile and paper industries, as an oxidising reagent in the chemical industry, for food facility disinfection and wastewater treatment.

It is supplied in rubber-lined steel tanks, in corrosion-resistant containers lined with rubber, polyethylene or fibreglass, and in polyethylene barrels (UN 1791). It must be stored in special containers protected from sunlight. KORKİMYA ships ex-stock from its Istanbul warehouse and keeps local stock against import lead times.

Yes. The product is registered under the Turkish KKDIK / REACH framework and ships with a compliant safety data sheet (SDS). Sodium hypochlorite must be kept away from acids and organic substances; the storage, handling and ventilation instructions on the SDS must be followed.
